USFL Trivia Question
Which United States Football League team owner (who never fielded his team) ran pro wrestling shows in the 1970’s?
Answer:
Eddie Einhorn co-founded the I.W.A. wrestling promotion. He owned the rights to the Chicago franchise for the 1985 USFL season after buying the Chicago Blitz and went “dark” until he intended to field a team in the fall of 1986

This is a video clip of Jim Kelly discussing his time with the Houston Gamblers. He discusses how he came to Houston, the other teams interested in him and much more:
In case you never saw the wild ending to the Michigan Panthers – Oakland Invaders USFL playoff game, where the Panthers fans stormed the field to celebrate with 25 seconds left remaining in the game, then you are welcome to take a look at this YouTube video. This showed that the fans had a connection with their team in Michigan, and hearing the commentators thoughts was rather interesting to say the least!
